Need a new twist on your traditional stuffed mushroom recipe? Thanks to Ina Garten you have a delicious new alternative. She is one of my Food Network favorites. She has such an elegant way of making food and entertaining. I saw this recipe on several blogs and knew that I had to give them a try for the party. The only downfall of these would be that they require a good amount of ingredients that you might not necessarily have on hand.
I made these the night before, and popped them into the oven right before our guests arrived. Blair and I sampled them the night before since I had some leftover filling and mushrooms, we each had several and loved them. My suggestion to the recipe is to buy more than sixteen mushrooms since you will have plenty of filling at the end.
