I have been having a hard time getting the photographs that I want from my camera. I also have no experience with photography so that is a tiny glitch as well. I have been reading up on different tips on food photography and everyone suggests natural light. This is a great in theory if I had a job as a professional blogger and could shoot my pictures during the day, but I don’t! I loved my pictures from the marshmallow post, but of course they were taken during the day on my day off.
I searched high and low for the best way to get great pictures at night since that is when I do most of my cooking. Everything was so expensive until I visited Confections of a Foodie Bride. She mentioned that a Lightscoop was the poor girl’s SpeedLite. I took a chance and ordered this attachment. I am so happy I did. I decided to play around with it the last night and as you can see from the photos above this little piece of plastic with a mirror makes a HUGE difference. I can’t wait to keep learning more about backgrounds and styling now that I have a new toy to play with!!
**Disclaimer, I am not being paid for this post. I just wanted to share my good fortune with those that are having the same problem with shooting at night as I am. It is a great and affordable option!
