Bloggers Bake for Hope1 Comment

One of my favorite blogs Beantown Baker, who provided me with the best Oreo cupcake recipe, is baking for a cause. I have joined her and Cara from Cara’s Cravings in this wonderful effort. From the Bloggers Bake for Hope website, Bloggers Bake for Hope is a virtual bake sale as part of Bake for Hope. Bake for Hope is a nation-wide, week-long bake sale benefiting Susan G. Komen for the Cure. During the week before Mothers Day, volunteers hold bake sales all over the country and donate the proceeds to local Susan G. Komen affiliates.

I couldn’t resist this opportunity since I know several people affected by this awful disease. My fugdy chocolate chip toffee cookie bars will be up for sale. Here are some logistics, each item will get its own blog post when the bake sale opens. Each item will also be tagged as either “Cookies”, “Brownies/Bars”, or “Other” so that you can easily find what you are looking for.

A complete listing of all items available for bidding can be found here. All items will appear on their blog at 12:01 (EST) on Wednesday, May 4th. If you would like to bid on an item, leave a comment with the dollar amount you would like to bid. All bidding will start at $15. Comments will not be moderated, so please be sure to out-bid the previous highest bidder. Bidding will close at midnight (EST) on Friday, May 6th. At this time commenting will be closed on all posts.

So please consider bidding on my item or any of the other items to support this cause. Have a great weekend! I will be busy with all my friend’s wedding activities!
