Chocolate Chip Cookie Milkshake2 Comments

Okay so in a week’s time I will be laying on the beach in the Grand Caymans and I should not be drinking these almost daily! They are just too good to resist. When my Food Network magazine had 50 smoothies this month I was beyond excited! I love a good smoothie and I can’t wait to try out some of their other suggestions. I decided to change the name of this particular smoothie to a milkshake because I think it is a much more appropriate title. My association with smoothies is fruit related and doesn’t usually contain ice cream.

With that being said, have I ever told you about my love affair with ice cream. I grew up eating chocolate ice cream every single night. Blame it on my family, it is all their fault, they have the same addiction. I think at first it came to a shock to my brother-in-law how obsessed we are with it. He has slowly become accustomed to it after many years in the family. During the summer at the beach we are some of the main contributors to the several ice cream places in Brigantine, NJ. So when I saw this in the magazine I had to whip up another favorite of mine, chocolate chip cookies, and sample this creation. Yummo! Take two of my favorite things and put it in one glass. Heaven on earth. I topped ours with whipped cream and a tinier cookie.
