Wendy’s Frosty6 Comments

Yes, you read that title correctly, this is indeed a Frosty just like you get from the fast food chain Wendy’s. With just three simple ingredients, and an ice cream maker, you can make your very own at home. I am not the biggest fan of fast food, but I will sometimes treat myself if the craving needs to be fulfilled. My absolute favorite fast food place is In-n-Out Burger, oh when are you coming to the East coast? Second, would have to be Chick-Fil-A, and of course I always crave it on Sundays. Coming in at third would have to be Wendy’s and the Frosty is probably my absolute favorite thing to get from there.

For me eating ice cream doesn’t have a season, I could eat it when it is sweltering out or when it is below zero. I love it that much. The perfection of a Frosty is that it is the perfect mix between a bowl of ice cream and a milkshake. This copycat recipe was dead on. It tasted exactly like the real thing. The only issue with this recipe is that it makes a ton. I ended up halving the recipe, and still got two big containers filled. Next time, I am going to cut it down even more. The results are best when straight from the ice cream maker, but if you freeze the leftovers, just let it sit out for a bit, then mix together for the desired consistency. I can’t wait to have a BBQ this summer to serve this alongside some burgers and fries.

16 ounces Cool Whip
1 14 oz. can sweetened condensed milk
1 gallon chocolate milk

What you’ll do:
In a medium size bowl pour condensed milk and Cool Whip and whisk together. Slowly add in chocolate milk and mix well. Pour into your ice cream maker and let it churn to the consistency that is similar to a Frosty.

We love ice creams too.. Back in school my friends and I would have ice creams on the coldest days of winter, sitting in the most windy corner of our school and we used to have so much fun. And this frosty looks absolutely gorgeous!:)
