Sugar Cookie Dough Dip1 Comment

Feeling like you are running out of time as the holiday is right around the corner. I am actually very thankful that this year we have the weekend in between us and Christmas. Usually I work up to the day before Christmas Eve, since it is my first year hosting someone was working in my favor. Now I have the weekend to prepare myself for hosting our in-laws and my brother-in-law for Christmas in New Jersey!

If you need a last minute dessert idea this Christmas, go ahead and make this dip. If rolling out sugar cookies isn’t in the cards this year, then make this alternative instead. Don’t be fooled by the picture, this recipe actually makes a ton! My suggestion would be to scale it back unless you have a crowd to feed. I brought in some for work and the picture shows you what is leftover. I was a bit worried the night I mixed this up since I thought the texture was a bit gritty, but once it sat overnight, those little particles dissolved resulting in a smooth dip. If tang from yogurt is not your thing, I bet you could go ahead and swap in cream cheese instead. Deliciousness doesn’t get any easier or quicker than this!

*Quick housekeeping note, next week posting will be sporadic and will just include two round-ups of the recipes I have posted in 2012. Have a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!

Once again this looks delicious. The cool whip and yogurt have to make it a low cal item!
